Teaching in the time of Corona – a Message from our CEO

As the pandemic spreads, shutting down schools, colleges and universities and disrupting the economic activity across the country, we are realizing that the lockdown is disproportionately impacting our students and communities; majority of whom rely on daily wages as their sole source of income.

Our CEO, Khadija Bakhtiar, shares her thoughts on how the outbreak has affected our work and how we are responding to the challenges as the crisis unfolds. Teach For Pakistan is starting a video series called “Teaching in the time of Corona” to bring you stories from the classrooms and communities and share the experiences of our students, their families and our Fellows, who have been continually adapting to respond to the important and urgent needs of the communities we serve, ensuring that learning does not stop for our students.
