Position Summary:

The Manager, Public and Private Sector Relations will be responsible for managing external partnerships in Teach For Pakistan’s “Encouraging Micro-innovations in Education” competition, in which he/she will assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with organizational partners in the public and private sector to ensure their participation in the launch and dissemination phases of the campaign. The Manager will play a lead role in establishing and maintaining regular communication with partners, creating and maintaining a database to track partner progress, and managing the organization and execution of external events in coordination with the project team to ensure maximum impact of the “Micro-Innovations in Education” competition throughout the phases of the project.

Position Summary:

The 4 Field Officers for the “Encouraging Micro-Innovations in Education Competition” will play an integral role in helping the Project Manager identify and assess the strength of innovative approaches to classroom instruction and generate evidence regarding their effectiveness. The 2 Karachi and 2 Lahore Field Officers will be responsible for leading and conducting school visits on behalf of the project and organizing, collecting, compiling, and reporting data over a 6-month period starting in the 2nd phase of the project. Furthermore, the Field Officers will be expected to travel, as required, to evaluate and review selected teacher entries through classroom observations in Karachi and Lahore in order to further shortlist innovations. Ideal candidates for these positions will possess a Master’s Degree with a background in education, classroom management, journalism, and/or research and analysis, and have high degrees of fluency in English, Urdu, Sindhi or Punjabi.
